I wanted to note what appears to be a high level of concern about the
environment expressed at the Lima Climate Change Conference
and note here the march in Lima which occurred today.  Yes,
Lima is in Peru.

So at this point there are at least four links of importance.

Democracy Now: people before profit march


Democracy Now has been covering the event live on the daily broadcast.

This event is certainly a great attempt to shine light on what are
clearly global concerns shared on many levels and a clear call
for a response to address these very important issues.

It is somewhat interesting to note - that there does not appear to be
Wall Street Journal coverage on this event, the references I'm finding
are to September - not to detract at all from that media outlet
- after all it is a big world with lots of information and hopefully
it will continue that way for a bit more, which I believe is why
there is so much energy being put into this event in Lima.
